Current Happenings

Almost finished with the airframe for my P-53 Bullshark, an original little warbird heavily inspired by the P-51. I think I'm gonna make the horizontal stabilizer a bit bigger and then start getting the servos in and all that. Overall tho a very smooth process so far. Still gotta add the cosmetics, I wanna do a turtle-deck, an intake, and a big intercooler under the wings. Pretty excited!

Finally got D.A.V.E.'s asshole back after it blew up in the skies over Propel Research. Shockingly, the part I designed and built (the fins) survived fine even after falling from 5000 feet. You can still stand on them and they won't break! A testament to both build quality and Abby's fiberglass layup.

OpenRocket design for my L1 cert rocket, Primus, is all done. Overall pretty simple, but that is the point of a cert rocket I guess. It's about 4 feet long and will be flying on an H219T-14 to roughly 2000ft. Ordering parts soon, looking forward to flying within the next few months.
